San Francisco Classic at Sonoma Horse Park - August 18-21 2010
April 18, 2010 – Petaluma, California – In its inaugural year the San Francisco Classic Horse Show is bound to be exciting! Held at the Sonoma Horse Park, this event will run August 18- 22, 2010.
This unique new show will offer classes for every level ranging from the short stirrup hunters and equitation to a $30,000 Grand Prix. The San Francisco Classic offers all the Northern California medal classes and classics with large prize money attached to every level! Other classes include a $5,000 3'3" Hunter Derby, and Classics for all levels for Junior and Amateur competitors.
Situated on the banks of the Petaluma River, Sonoma Horse Park is Northern California's newest horse show facility. This world-class facility offers nine beautiful rings for the 2010 horse show season as well as an expansive spectator berm. The facility is minutes away from some of California's most celebrated destinations. Hundreds of wineries, luxury hotels and charming bed and breakfast inns, world-renowned restaurants, and a variety of golf courses are just a few of the amenities that families can enjoy while not competing.
"The Saturday evening Grand Prix and Hunter Derby should be a great evening of entertainment. The Derby is scheduled for a 4:30 start with the Grand Prix to follow," commented show manager Dale Harvey.
Sponsorship levels are still available for all levels. A beautiful VIP area with unbelievable food catered by local restaurants, and cabanas to seat up to 22 people are two options to get involved.
